Fellowship

Welcome to the first Family Practice & Community Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in New York State!

Application

The Nurse Practitioner Fellowship Program runs from September to September every year. The program will be accepting five Family Nurse Practitioners and two Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners for 2025 – 2026.

We will be having virtual open houses on the below dates. Email [email protected] for more information!

  • Tuesday, November 12 at 6:00 pm EST
  • Tuesday, December 10 at 6:00 pm EST

We have two means of entry into the Fellowship: early decision admission and rolling admission. Early decision applicants are typically looking to secure a spot in the Fellowship earlier than the rolling admission pool. If you decide to apply through the early decision process, your application will be due at an earlier date and you will be informed of our decision at an earlier date. If there are remaining spots after the early decision deadline, applicants will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling admission basis until the cohort is full.

  • October 1, 2024 – Application opens!
  • January 1, 2025 – Early decision applications are due.
  • January 2, 2025 –Rolling admission begins.
  • January 15, 2025 – Early decision applicants are informed if they are selected to proceed with an interview.
  • February 15, 2025– Early decision applicants are informed if accepted. You will be given one week to accept or decline the offer.
  • February 16, 2025 – Rolling admission applications will be reviewed and interviews will be granted pending availability of spots.
